How To: My Everyday Makeup.

Recently on my Instagram i've been asked about what products I use in my everyday makeup routine and also to do a little talk-through of how I do my makeup, so today i'll be showing you the products i've been using recently! If you would be interested in seeing a video on how I do this look then let me know in the comments or on Instagram.

For my base I have been using Nars Sheer Glow in the shade Siberia. I absolutely love this foundation because it suits my skin tone perfectly (finally, a shade pale enough!) and has a light to medium coverage so it doesn't feel heavy. I use a damp Real Techniques Miracle Sponge to apply the foundation as I find it gives a nice even finish. I then apply the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Chantilly underneath my eyes and on my nose with my damp sponge to subtly highlight the areas. I did not feature this product in my list below as it is not a part of my everyday routine though sometimes I do like to use the NYX Taupe blush as a contour on my cheekbones to create a bit more depth to the look. I finish off my skin by applying The Balm's Mary Loumaniser (or Colourpop's Stole The Show highlight) on the tops of my cheekbones and nose.

I then start on my eyes. Firstly I use a neutral shade all over my eyelid to prime my eyes and make it easier to blend the following eyeshadows. I've been really enjoying using warm taupes, browns, golds and rose golds on my eyes lately. I simply blend in a warm toned eyeshadow (an example could be the 5th or 6th eyeshadow from the left in the Naked 2 Palette) and then blend that onto my lid. I then take a darker brown shade and apply to the outer V of my eye and onto the crease and blend (a lot!). I usually follow up with a very light colour (or even a highlight) in the inner corner of my eye to brighten up the look and finish by curling my lashes and applying a coat of mascara.

Following this I brush through my eyebrows with an eyebrow brush and apply the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Ebony. I focus mainly on the ends of my eyebrows and the body, leaving the start of my eyebrows a lot more sparse and natural looking. I then brush through the brows to disperse the product and voila! Sometimes if I want my eyebrows to be a touch darker I will apply the black shade in the Naked 2 Palette to my eyebrows with a slanted eyebrow brush.

To finish my look i've been loving NYX's Soft Matte Lip Cream in London.
