October Favourites / Makeup, Glasses, Music.

Hello! I'm so happy to be able to back into my normal blogging routine. As you may know I finally have 4 months off! The past two weeks have been quite possibly the busiest two weeks of my life, studying and writing around 10 hours a day. Safe to say that's finally all over and so with that, I want to share with you all some of my favourites this month. *Note: none of these picks are sponsored.

Firstly, the Urban Decay Naked Palette 2. Holy moly. Opening this palette was pretty note-worthy. There were a lot of excited noises and gasps because the quality of the inside of this palette is just incredible. If you're a lover of both warm and cool toned eyeshadows that can be worn on a daily basis, this is the palette for you. The golden, copper and brown tones are definitely a must-have for any makeup lover. The shadows themselves are of fantastic quality. They're buttery, creamy and highly pigmented. The only con I can see with this product is the look of the packaging on the outside. The tin makes the palette feel a little cheaper than it really is. However, because of the sturdiness of the palette I feel safe in taking this when travelling with me and that in itself is a big plus.

I would highly recommend this product for anyone who is looking for a great quality everyday makeup palette.

Recently I picked myself up some Makeup Geek individual eyeshadows after hearing some very good things. I can easily say, these shadows are by far the best individual eyeshadows I have ever used. I have fallen in love with their collection of browns, taupes and copper/red shades. Peach Smoothie (the shade on the far left) has been my go to crease shade, which is perfect for creating a nice base for many eyeshadow looks.

In October I finally got my eyes properly tested after struggling with frequent headaches and discovered I need reading glasses! These are the Leo frames from Oscar Wylee and I cannot speak of them highly enough. I have quite a small head and these fit perfectly. I love the rounder shape of the frames and the fact that I can see everything so much more clearly now! There were certainly a lot of excited gasps when I realised I could see the detail in my everyday life once again.

As for music, Jack Ladder and The Dreamlanders have been on repeat consistently ever since I saw them live a few weeks ago. I've been a lover of theirs for a few years now but after finally getting to experience them live they've been nearly all i've been listening to. Their song Cold Feet is one of the best songs i've heard in a long time. Give them a listen.
