28th September 2014

Enjoying the beautiful sunshine post house party (and on 4 hours sleep). Wearing my white Maurie and Eve pinafore that I absolutely adore. It's original price is $179.00 but I got it for $36! It's the first time i've had the chance to wear it because it hasn't really been warm enough but this week is meant to be super hot! The skirt is very tight and can ride up so when walking you are showing a LOT of leg so I make sure to team it with a nice button up shirt. Polka dots today, nothing new. Spending my day resting up after having a house party at mine last night and starting the day with the most glorious lunch and juice in a jar before starting my first shift in the big David Jones store tomorrow which is exciting. I've worked at the two other stores for Jack London which has been incredible and I just love the vibe so much. There's nothing better than working for a store that plays The Cure all day and is built on skinny fit clothing, polka dots and velvet. Hope you're all having a lovely day!

The Birth Of Venus

I lovelovelove this jumper. The second I saw it I knew i'd have to buy it. Not only is it incredibly different to anything i've ever seen before but it is also very affordable! The package itself came relatively quickly and the tracking was reliable. Once I touched the jumper I was shocked by how brilliant the quality of the image was. The quality was exceptionally high and the colours gorgeous. It is quite a light jumper so certainly not designed to keep you warm in the depths of winter but also not so light that it appears to be more of a shirt. I love wearing it with jeans for a casual day or under a pinafore for days when I feel like being more dressed up. My mother thinks it is the most ridiculous thing she's ever seen but I simply can't get enough of it.

This Twilight Garden

This has been an outfit I have been sporting quite a lot lately. The dress was given to me by one of my housemates in a clothes swap and I absolutely love it. I added the ribbon and collar to complete the look. Of course nothing is complete in this chilly cold weather without my faux fur coat which is probably going to be going back into storage soon over the next few weeks! The sun is starting to come out and things are starting to look a lot like spring-time. I love teaming cute dresses with collars and ribbons, but this time I added some heeled chelsea boots to give the look a bit more of a dressy feel.
